Sorry means you feel the pulse of other people's pain as well as your own, and saying it means you take a share of it. And so it binds us together, makes us trodden and sodden as one another. Sorry is a lot of things. It's a hole refilled. A debt repaid. Sorry is the wake of misdeed. It's the crippling ripple of consequence. Sorry is sadness, just as knowing is sadness. Sorry is sometimes self-pity. But Sorry, really, is not about you. It's theirs to take or leave.

Sorry means you leave yourself open, to embrace or to ridicule or to revenge.Sorry is a question that begs forgiveness, because the metronome of a good heart won't settle until things are set right and true. Sorry doesn't take things back, but it pushes things forward. It bridges the gap. Sorry is a sacrament. It's an offering. A gift.”

I wish there was a word stronger then I am sorry. Some way, something to make you understand how sorry I am and the saddest thing is knowing there is nothing.

‎"For it was not into my ear you whispered, but into my heart.
 It was not my lips you kissed, but my soul."

Love is as much of an object as an obsession.
 Everybody wants it, everybody seeks it, but few ever achieve it.

 Those who do, will cherish it, be lost in it, and among all never...
never forget it.
Curtis Judalet

“Just when you think it can't get any worse, it can.

And just when you think it can't get any better, it can.”

Nothing worth doing is completed in our lifetime,
Therefore, we are saved by hope.

Nothing true or beautiful or good makes complete sense in any immediate context of history;
Therefore, we are saved by faith.
Nothing we do, however virtuous, can be accomplished alone.
Therefore, we are saved by love.
No virtuous act is quite a virtuous from the standpoint of our friend or foe as from our own;

Therefore, we are saved by the final form of love which is forgiveness.
Reinhold Niebuhr

I don't know why we all hang on to something we know we're better of letting go. It's like we're scared to lose what we don't really have. Some of us say we'd rather have that then nothing at all, but the truth is; to have it half way is harder then not having it all.

“Perhaps all our loves are merely hints and symbols; vagabond-language scrawled on gate-posts and paving-stones along the weary road that others have tramped before us; perhaps you and I are types and this sadness which sometimes falls between us springs from disappointment in our search, each straining through and beyond the other, snatching a glimpse now and then of the shadow which turns the corner always a pace or two ahead of us.” --Evelyn Waugh

My dreams are now the reverse of what they once were.

It startled me so much that at first I thought my dream was the reality.

“It's afterwards you realize that the feeling of happiness you had with a man didn't necessarily prove that you loved him.”  Marguerite Duras
