IF WE COULD SEE BEYOND TODAY

If we could see beyond today

As God can see,

If all the clouds should roll away,

The shadows flee;

O'er present grief's we would not fret,

Each sorrow we would soon forget,

For many joys are waiting yet

For you and me.

If we could know beyond today

As God doth know,

Why dearest treasures pass away,

And tears must flow;

And why the darkness leads to light,

Why dreary days will soon grow bright,

Some day life's wrong will be made right,

Faith tells us so.

If we could see, if we could know

We often say,

But God in love a veil doth throw

Across our way.

We cannot see what lies before,

And so we cling to Him the more,

He leads us till this life is o'er,

Trust and obey.

Norman J. Clayton

This song describes so much of what I am going through right now....

I heard it yesterday & it made me think...I can keep trusting Him,

because somehow, someway, He knows what He is doing & I know He loves me.

Sometimes when bad or unwanted things come my way it's easy to slip into

thinking He has forgotten me or is punishing me.

It's all about trust & remembering this isn't the end...there is another life to come...

and lots of love & joy to be enjoyed now.

"A woman's heart should be so close to God that a man should have to chase Him to find her."

You can't run from Fate...

It's said that our life are made up of choices...

When you were created destiny took over.
As soon as our paths cross I was lost.
There was no choice, there was only you.

I shall never regret it!

"Once you shut yourself inside a wardrobe, you can imagine anything."

"Once you shut yourself inside a wardrobe, you can imagine anything" by miss pris.

Was Jesus merely a great moral & mortal – teacher & philosopher? Let us consider the words of C. S. Lewis, who brilliantly defended the fact that Jesus was in fact God:

“I am trying here to prevent anyone saying the really foolish thing that people often say about Him: ‘I’m ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I don’t accept His claim to be God.’ That is the one thing we must not say. A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic – on the level with the man who says he is a poached egg – or else he would be the devil.

You can shut Him up for a fool. You can spit on Him & kill Him as a demon; or you can fall at His feet & call Him Lord & God. But let us not come with any patronizing nonsense about His being a great teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intent to.”

C.S. Lewis

So She Dances

I never want to let you down
Forgive me if I slip away
Sometimes it's hard to find the ground
Cause I keep on falling as I try to get away
From this crazy world

Battles make you stronger. Hardships teach you resolve and perseverance. Crushings squeeze out the bad and bring forth the good. Fires of testing burn out the dross and purify you. Loneliness draws you closer to Me. Inadequacy helps you to realize how much you need Me. Sorrow gives you compassion. Difficulties cause you to praise and thank Me for the good times. The rains of adversity help to clear your vision as you keep your eyes on Me.

Security Blanket

Let My love envelop you like a warm blanket. Let the comfort of My presence shield you from the cold of night. Let Me impart to you the sweet assurance of My love and concern. I will wrap My protective covering around you and keep you snuggled in the tender caresses of My love.

I’m your security blanket that you can depend on to soothe your ruffled nerves and silence your fears. In Me you will find the quiet assurance that I’m going to take care of everything. You don’t need to worry, because it’s all in My hands.
