I want you to start looking at every situation as an opportunity to grow in faith. That's the point the Lord wants us to see. He wants us to see every test, every battle, every difficulty, as a perfect opportunity to be strengthened in faith. Learn to appreciate the variety in the tests! Or, if you keep getting the same ones time after time, then thank the Lord for the clarity of showing you which area is weak and needs your attention!

We were sitting in a meeting tonight; when we hear this loud crash. So Dad calls out "Bryan, you okay?", as he is the only one not there. He says "Yea, I'm okay. I walked into the door."
Isn't that sweet. Little guys are quite funny!

A Truly Beautiful Song!

Jesus:
I want the words kind, generous, unselfish, thoughtful, helpful, and cheery to spring to mind when people look at you.
Now, you are not going to be a perfectly kind, generous, unselfish, thoughtful, helpful, cheery person all the time. You are going to have your off times. You are human. You are a sinner. You are going to fail sometimes. But those positive traits should be generally attributable to you. And they will be if you are living the life of a genuine Christian. And you can live the life of a genuine Christian if you avail yourself of and use the tools I have given you. These tools are the Word, first and foremost, that you should read and let guide your life‚ and the spiritual weapons of prayer, praise‚ prophecy, and the keys, to facilitate that guidance.

"Aim for success, not perfection. Never give up your right to be wrong, because then you will lose the ability to learn new things and move forward with your life. Remember that fear always lurks behind perfectionism. Confronting your fears and allowing yourself the right to be human can, paradoxically, make yourself a happier and more productive person."

The beauties of Heaven

I love this picture. I can't wait to see all the beings, man claim to be only mythological, when I get to heaven. I am sure I will have a couple centaurs hanging around my place, well maybe not just hanging out. :)

Hooray, I always wanted to be one!

What Mythological Creature are you? (Cool Pics!)
created with QuizFarm.com
You scored as Mermaid

Mermaid: Mermaids are also known as Sirens. These creatures were beautiful women who tricked sailors into becoming completely entranced by their haunting voices and found death soon after. Not all stories of Mermaids are about gentle loving sea people. They are mystical, magical, and extremely dangerous. They have a way about them that brings anyone they are around to seem enchanted. They are very mysterious creatures and to meet one... Would mean certain Death. Let the song of the Sea fill your soul, for you are a Mermaid.

Chocolate Love

God shows His love for us in strange & unusual ways. We have to learn to see the little things in life, as gifts from His hands. The thing is He most often has to use the hands of others.
I was hugged by Him the other day all the way from Ireland. Yes, Sam from Ireland, sent me a chocolate bar...so sweet. It was like receiving a great big hug from him. Thank you Sam, as I nibble it I will think of you. And no, no dirty thoughts shall cross my mind. lol

My Beautiful Mother

I realized I didn't have a picture of my mom up. Well here she is. She is an incredible person. First off, she puts up with me & loves me unconditionally.
Second, she loves the Lord so much, been through so much & is still here.
She is such a hard worker & puts others before herself always!
She gives to all of her kids over & over again. I had a good childhood thanks to her.
Best of all, we are friends now. I love you Mom!

"To be loved, be lovable."

The question is..... do you want to be loved by this guy?!

One of my favorite missionaries!

Every true soldier is a hero! A soldier without heroism is a Chocolate Soldier! Who has not been stirred to scorn and mirth at the very thought of a Chocolate Soldier? In peace true soldiers are captive lions, fretting in their cages. War gives them their liberty and sends them, like boys bounding out of school‚ to obtain their heart's desire or perish in the attempt. Battle is the soldier's vital breath! Peace turns him into a stooping asthmatic. War makes him a whole man again, and gives him the heart, strength, and vigor of a hero.

Every true Christian is a soldier—of Christ—a hero "par excellence!" Braver than the bravest—scorning the soft seductions of peace and her oft–repeated warnings against hardship, disease, danger and death, whom he counts among his bosom friends.

The otherwise Christian is a Chocolate Christian, dissolving in water and melting at the smell of fire. Sweeties they are! Bonbons, lollipops! Living their lives in a glass dish or in a cardboard box, each clad in his soft clothing, a little frilled white paper to preserve his dear little delicate constitution. …

Difficulties, dangers, disease, death, or divisions don't deter any but Chocolate Soldiers from executing God's will. When someone says there is a lion in the way, the real Christian promptly replies, "That's hardly enough inducement for me; I want a bear or two besides to make it worth my while to go."

Guess where this love letter is from...

It is strange to think I have not seen you in a month.

I have seen the new moon, but not you.

I have seen sunsets and sunrises, but nothing of your beautiful face.

The pieces of my broken heart are so small that they could be passed through the eye of a needle.

I miss you like the sun misses the flower.
Like the sun misses the flower in the depths of winter.

Instead of beauty to direct its light to,the heart hardens like the frozen world your absence has banished me to.

I next compete in the city of Paris, I will find it empty and in the winter if you are not there.

Hope guides me, that is what gets me through the day and the night.

The hope that after you're gone from my sight, it will not be the last time that I look upon you.
.

With all the love that I possess...I remain yours...

From a Spirit Being:
That was part of the deal‚ part of the bargain when He left Heaven and He left His Father to die for you and me. Part of His reward would be that you would never be able to find full satisfaction in the arms of another. There would eternally be a place in your heart that would never be satisfied except by His love, His companionship, and being married to Him.

It's part of Jesus' reward that you have this need. It's part of His reward from God, His Father, that in dying for you, in return you would have a need for Him that could not be filled by any other. This is His insurance that you will love Him above all others, and that you will never stop needing Him or wanting Him or desiring Him. No matter how much love He gives you from another, or from many others, it will never be able to fill this special place in your heart that's created for Him and Him alone.

It's funny because I had never read the GN on loneliness, which the above paragraphs are from, but the Lord had told me personal that very thing years ago. He said that I would never be satisfied with any relationship on this earth, because in my heart He left a reminder of His love, so I am always remembering it when with others & always be wanting more & so far I have found this true. In someways it is very hard, but in other ways good. You never get too satisfied with this life, because you know nothing of this world is really worth anything, excepting love, of course, and human love is so very fragile.

All quotes from Jesus

  • No matter what, you will always have My unconditional love. It will see you through anything. It will be a light in a dark place, a compass when you are lost, an anchor to hold you fast in the storms, and a warm blanket to comfort you when you are alone & cold.
  • I love you. I always have and I always will. And I am not going to give up on you. Never. I am going to keep loving you. I'm going to maintain My faith in you. It's a given. Even if you are faithless I remain faithful. I've got enough faith for both of us, and I will bring you through. Just tell yourself, "Jesus loves me," because I do. - In the good times, the bad times, at all times. I am forever in love with you.
  • When you believe in My love, you can have total rest, because you know that everything is in My hands. You can know that when something goes wrong, it is not a punishment, but a gift of My love. You can see each thing as a special gift from My hand to one whom I dearly love, one for whom I died.

  • You need not worry about your future, because I am your future. With Me there's nothing you should be afraid of.

  • Ours is a love that is built on helping others, saving them from hell on earth & hell hereafter. It's a mature love, designed to encompass many others & gather them into our circle of love.
